Android Oreo was made official by Google recently and some devices have already started receiving Android 8.0 Update through OTA. Huawei & it’s sub brand Honor are expected to release Huawei Android Oreo Updates for most of it’s devices.

Like most Chinese manufacturers, Huawei uses their own custom UI on top of Android on their devices. This normally makes the updates for devices a bit late. As they will be updating their skin also with the Android Oreo update. But there has been some news back in April that Android O is already on testing phase on Mate line of Huawei. So we can expect Android 8.0 update for Huawei to come sometime soon, same would be the case for Honor Android Oreo updates. Huawei Mate 10 Pro is the flagship of Huawei for 2017 and it’s the best yet from them. It comes with one of the most powerful processors in Android now, Kirin 970 and it is paired with 6GB of RAM. It comes with a 6 inch Full HD+ display, and has a battery capacity of 4000 mAh. The Huawei Android Oreo update for Mate 10 Pro is already available as an OTA update.

Huawei Mate 10 is the second flagship of Huawei for 2017, and this sits just below the Mate 10 Pro. It also comes with Kirin 970 like Mate 10 Pro. But it’s powered by a 4 GB RAM unit here. It also comes with a 4000 mAh battery and a Full HD+ 5.9 inch display. Huawei Android Oreo update for Mate 10 is also out and it’s available as OTA update.

Huawei’s current flagship from Mate series of smartphones. It comes with a top of the line HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor and 6/4 GB of RAM. It will be receiving soon. It has been already spotted in the wild to be running a test version of Android O recently. It must be getting Huawei Android Oreo update along with the scheduled EMUI 5.2 (or 6?) update.

Huawei P10 is a bigger version of P10. It’s screen size is 5.5 inch where as P10 is 5.1 inch. You can expect the Huawei Android Oreo update for P10 Plus to arrive along side it’s younger brother’s update.

Honor 9 is the update to Honor 8 Pro, it’s a major upgrade over Honor 8 Pro on the outside. But it is almost the same from the inside. It is powered by the same Kirin 960 processor and has 6GB of RAM. It comes with a 5.15 inch Full HD display. It has a battery capacity of 3200 mAh. The Android 8.0 update for this phone is in the works, and the beta is already out for early adopters. Wait for the update notification on your phone, and it’ll come soon.

Honor 8 Pro Android Oreo Update

Honor 8 Pro is the flagship device in the Honor line from Huawei. It comes with a Kirin 960 chipset and 6/4 GB of RAM. Although it comes with almost same specifications as that of Mate & P line from Huawei, it is priced much cheaper. And Honor Android Oreo update will arrive on Honor 8 Pro along with the other flagships in Huawei’s portfolio.

The predecessor for Honor 8 Pro, Honor 8 comes with a Kirin 950 processor and 4 GB of RAM. It’s Honor Android 8.0 update is set to arrive after the flagships are updated.

UPDATE: Honor updated that Honor 8 will not receive Android Oreo update, but it’ll receive EMUI 8 update, with all the features of the EMUI 8.0 with Oreo that is being pushed to other phones.

Honor 7x is the latest entrant to the Honor’s budget rage. It is powered by a Kirin 659 processor and 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 32 GB & 64 GB of internal storage options. As it came just now, we can hope the Honor 7x Oreo update will be available soon, as the Huawei’s flagships have already received the Oreo update.
